We are looking for an energetic and eager Business Developer (salary up to 65k + 40% bonus) with a high level of professionalism and expertise for a great opportunity at a Financial services company based in Amstelveen (Amsterdam side, hybrid working culture). 
As Business Developer, you are part of a team that is responsible for the acquisition of big local and international clients. You serve as the (C-level) link of communication between customers and internal teams. You also cooperate closely with the Delivery Manager who is responsible for implementation of our projects.


Specificaties

To get the job done: 
Acquisition
Your role involves actively seeking out and signing up significant international clients, both new and recurring ones. This requires a proactive approach to identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating how to address those needs.

Be the Expert
You are representing the company at various events, network meetings, and roundtables. You can be creative with new methods of engaging with potential clients. Additionally, you can establish yourself as an expert in your field, whether by speaking at events, moderating discussions, or creating content that positions you and the company as thought leaders.




Sales Management
You’re responsible for negotiating terms and conditions for projects that not only benefit the client but are also feasible for our internal team to deliver upon. This requires a balance between meeting client expectations and ensuring that the company can fulfill its commitments.

Communication
You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong relationships.

Involvement in Large Accounts
For significant accounts, you serve as the initial point of contact during the audit phase. Once the commercial aspects are settled, you will transition the account to the delivery manager

Reporting
You provide updates to the Business Director on acquisition efforts and client relations.


You are a perfect match:

You will bring: 

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field;
  • 6+ years of experience in Sales;
  • Fluent in English and preferably German, Dutch or French;
  • Affinity with procure-to-pay;
  • Experience in account management and providing solutions based on customer needs;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels including C-level;
  • Speaking in public;
  • Skilled in problem solving and negotiation;
  • Willing to travel (abroad).
